If it is a ef lens then yes you will need a adapter for it to work **Q: Has anyone tried using canon ef-s lenses with the mount adapter and what results did you have?** A: Yes EF-S works on it. Putting an EF-S lens on means it’s no longer full frame though. It will automatically crop in 1.6x (from full frame, so it will still feel like the 35 you’re used to).
