I then wrap the stack of panels in a large towel. I put the food box on top of the wrapped ice panels. Next, I wrap a wire around the food box and ice packs like a gift. I also cover the dials completely (sides included) with thin cardboard and very sticky tape. I put all of this in a larger box. My cat has not been able to break in with all that, and the food stays cold for 16 hours at least. Recently one of the panels has repeatedly failed to open a couple times. (He used to break into it all the time.) **Q: Looking for advice with using C200 with two kittens... if they aren't both there when the door opens, one will eat both bowls.** A: I would recommend two separate feeders, and possibly one with a more precise timer. That way one kitten cannot eat both bowls at the same time. Great value!! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good Enough *by M***M on March 5, 2026* Running 2 years, no problems, but... If you have a mischievous cat, you make need to make some alterations. The lids are flimsy and there's enough space for cat to get his claws under it and pry so cat would have ripped the lids off eventually. I had to build up a barrier between the lids with baking soda and super glue. The battery compartment has wiggle room, so the battery came loose from cat knocking it around. I put some stuffing in to fill the gap and taped it down. Otherwise, I change the batteries every 6 months and it's worked reliably every day. Just beware that the time you set on the dial may not be super accurate. On mine, if I set it for 7 hours, it opens closer to 8.5 hours later.
