This little gadget does a great job cleaning a prosthetic's surface, making it much more comfortable to wear. It wasn't made to sterilize so you may still have to use hot water & soap now and then, but far less frequently than before. Since I've started using this I notice a big reduction in the amount of gunk that builds up on the surface of my prosthetic. That used to drive me crazy and led to cleaning several times a day.
