Doesn't dry out quickly
This is black ink from Cannon and works great. I don't know how long this one will last without drying out but my last one lasted for years. Obviously I don't do much printing.

Canon is awesome
What a great feeling when you find out the printer you purchased April 9, 2009 is not broken .... it just needed ink. I have had many printers over the Years most have crashed and burned after 3-5 years, Canon really is the best and I take care of it and only use genuine Cannon ink cartridges.

Good quality product, but way overpriced.
I never use after market ink for my printers, the Canon cartridges are superior quality. However the price is way to high, same with the Epson ink I buy. There is no need for this pricing policy. Charge more for the printers in the first place, instead of gauging customers for the ink they will inevitably require.

Too Expensive for how long they last
I have an old Canon printer and the ink cartridges are too expensive. I bought the XL one and didn't last any time at all. I am a senior who stays at home and i do very little printing. I will find a printer that uses cheaper ink cartridges. I can't afford them anymore.

Genuine Part are always going to be perfect
I use refill ink about 3 times then I buy a new cartridge again. The less frequently the cartridge is used the more that a new Cartridge is needed. This seems backwards, but under light use the cartridge internal foam gets dry and hard and won't hold the ink well. If you want to refill, do it immediately when it gets low, or again the internals get dry and hard and then won't hold the ink.

OEM CARTRIDGE ALL THE WAY
Works great, perfect fit straight from the box. BIGGEST complaint, ink dries out too quickly for me as I am not a heavy user. The fact of the matter is my kids use it to print out homework from grade school so not a lot of printing, and the ink has dried out twice now before I have actually printed it up. Actually, printer said I was near empty, but I knew how much printing had been done, less than75 to 50 pgs over 4 months and I was told I was or had run out of ink. Only reason I kept the printer around was for the colour print option. I now have gone to colour laser due to all the replacing of the ink, toner is cheaper by the sheet and I have yet to have a "dried out" toner in the years I have owner a laser printer (8 or more years and still printing on the same toner, can't do that on a ink cartridge).GOOD CARTRIDGE, works great straight out of the box, too bad it didn't work out for me.
