We where worried that the sign may not be bright enough because of how the photo looks but it is plenty bright and the blue lines above and below the word Open are animated, if you want them to be or can be just on if you prefer. You really can't tell from the photo but the paw print is white and all is very bright it has an on and off switch on the cord as well as at the bottom of the sign. The cord at the bottom of the sign turns the animation on and off as well. We where deligted to see how nice it is...We just recieved it today and will be gifting it to our son for Christmas. (We checked it out to make sure it worked and looked the way we had hoped as we where unsure if it would be what we wanted, and it seems to be way better. ) ### ⭐⭐ Worked great for 2 weeks then quit. It looked beautiful and was very bright. After a couple weeks it stopped working completely. Contacted Amazon to see about returning or exchanging and they said they showed no warranty for this item. I splurged a little to get it (was planning on cheaping out but liked the paw print). I have it for a pet supplies store and it works great. Has 3 different light settings so you can have it flashing in various ways or just on. It's highly visible even during the day. I did have to attach a string to the bottom pull so I could reach it as it is hanging up high, but that wasn't difficult. It's maybe a little smaller then I was expecting, but that's my fault for not looking at the dimensions on the product description - besides it's not too small for being seen. Overall good product.
