Review: Best product ever - I have now had this propper-upper for just over 7 years. I am currently using it with a Kindle Fire10, which is just over 10" tall. No issues with it sliding out or falling out of the place where it rests. I use it for reading in bed. Prop it up on my stomach. Can adjust to whatever angle I want at the moment. I sometimes might fall asleep that way and have woken up with the device and Kindle still in place. I don't know what I would do without this. I have arthritis in my hands and this is a huge factor in allowing me to still be able to read a lot. Also use it when doing video calls when holding a cell phone for a long period starts to wear on your arm / hand. Have used it for hours and hours at a time and don't have any issues. (Besides it would be great if it came in some other color besides just black. Hint, hint.) I can use the handle to carry it around with my Kindle leaning on it too. Doesn't grab and hold the Kindle like some kind of vice grip, but it is seated well enough that unless I tip it out deliberately it is stable. So, excellent longevity as I am still using it daily after 7 years. I also love the hard support for the iPad, and the fact that the shelf part of the support has an opening for a charging cable (i.e. you can charge the iPad while it's on the stand and being used). Very well designed and constructed - It's the best stand I've found for my iPad and I've looked at many over the years! Recommended.

I have now had this propper-upper for just over 7 years. I am currently using it with a Kindle Fire10, which is just over 10" tall. No issues with it sliding out or falling out of the place where it rests. I use it for reading in bed. Prop it up on my stomach. Can adjust to whatever angle I want at the moment. I sometimes might fall asleep that way and have woken up with the device and Kindle still in place. I don't know what I would do without this. I have arthritis in my hands and this is a huge factor in allowing me to still be able to read a lot. Also use it when doing video calls when holding a cell phone for a long period starts to wear on your arm / hand. Have used it for hours and hours at a time and don't have any issues. (Besides it would be great if it came in some other color besides just black. Hint, hint.) I can use the handle to carry it around with my Kindle leaning on it too. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not heavy enough, but easily fixed

I've been considering buying this product for quite a while, and finally decided to get it. I wanted something compact to prop up my Kindle Fire while I read in bed; I have arthritis in my hands and they get quite painful and stiff holding the Kindle myself. I had previously purchased something similar (LAP PRO - Stand/Caddy, Universal Beanbag Lap Stand) but it lasted only a few months. It was filled with tiny foam beads that started coming out through the seams and making a mess, so I threw it away. This one is filled with similar beads, but seems to be sewn with a finer-gauge seam so they won't come out. I wanted it weighted a bit more, though, so I replaced the foam beads with heavier plastic beads I bought at an arts and crafts store which made it seem much more sturdy to me. (I took out the small cloth bag that's inside the stand, opened the seam a couple of inches, then stitched it closed after putting in the heavier beads.) My only real complaint is that it's hard to place my Kindle at a tilted angle to read while lying down without it slipping off. I was hoping the rubberized flat part for the device to lie against would be more non-slip. Even given that, I like this product. It's small but does the job, especially when you are sitting upright.
