We have a very large rescue dog that just showed up at our house and decided to stay. He is a wonderful dog but his shedding has been driving me wild. He will not let you near him with any instrument that makes noise like a vacuum, a batter operated de-shedding tool, or anything catches his hair and pulls. I have finally found one that works and it is the Deshedding Tool by Hertzko. The first time I used it, Hershey just laid down and let me work on him. It works very well, he seemed to like it, so now I am happy. Thanks! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Finally sharp blades and great quality *by B***E on Reviewed in the United States on July 20, 2020* Finally this is the 4th one I've bought from various sellers in last 3 weeks. The big big one had the blade broke from handle and unreparable. So this shedding blade is awesome as far as it not being blunt teeth nice sharp but not sharp as in hurt your dog sharp. I mean sharp as in takes out much more hair in 1 stroke than ANY of the other shedding blades I have purchased. The blade is pretty thick and strong not that usual flimsy stainless steel. My only drawback ( not the fault of the product) but I wish the actual blade was longer like twice or 3 times as long like my old shedding blade) as I have a hairy big girl. Can't find the bigger blade ones anywhere. The blade slides in and out effortlessly. Totally recommend this product. Will order a 2nd one too so I have a back up when other one wears out. I have 2 cats, litter mates of the same age, both short hair, but their coat is quite different. The tabby has a coat while shedding normally during this season, daily brushing (using a normal wire brush) seems to be all he needs. The other one is a grey and white, but he has an undercoat that no amount of brushing can get rid of his thick undercoat. He's been trailing white fur all over the house since May. I finally got tired of vacuuming 3 times a day and looked on Amazon for something. I decided to give this shedding tool a try and boy was I happy. I take him outside in the morning and give him a good brushing from head to tail (he loves it, I hear his motor going full steam) until no more fur is flying in the air. Then for the next 3 day he just gets a regular wire brushing for hair shedding and not a wisp of undercoat flies out! I LOVE IT. It is also the perfect size for cats and small dogs.
