Then, you might have tried the Martindale Fuse Finder Elite; a tool that claimed to do the same job by finding a miniature circuit breaker supplying a circuit, to which one had connected a signal-transmitting device. It claimed to have a mode where it adapted to signal-strength, so as to gradually close-in on the correct circuit-breaker. The Elite never worked for me. Well, this circuit breaker finder, the TIS870, does do what the Elite was supposed-to-do.
