## Description

Tired of stripping out threads on the plastic pump heads. Chugger is the solution you have been looking for. Chugger is the first pump made specifically by brewers for brewers. These pump heads are Comparable to the popular plastic March pump in virtually every way except of course they are made of durable Stainless steel. Review: Perfect for home brewing - I use these to transfer hot wort or water between brewing vessels, and these work great and are easier to clean just by hooking up to hot water. This really is much easier that attempting to gravity flow, and I think it makes for a much safer setup. I really liked the quality of the pump, and the stainless steel head should be much more durable than the plastic one that the competitor uses. It could use an inline on/off switch, but I built my own so this isn't a problem.
Review: Great Pump For Home Brew Beer - I have no idea what happened with the order "Kevin Curtiss (South Lyon, MI USA)" made but I ordered from the same listing and the stainless steel pump head arrived with a pump attached to it. I will post again after using the pump (in a week or two) with comments. ***Update: 11/24/14*** It looks like the listing has been updated at some point. When I purchased from this listing it was the SS pump head and 110v motor. The description was a bit ambiguous but was listed at around $130. Now it states clearly it's the head only for $47.50. ***Update: 12/28/14*** The listing this review is attached to now shows a picture and description for just the SS pump head at $150. I guess it's been changed again. Best advice I can give, when considering this pump, check with the seller whether it's a pump motor AND the head. Regardless, the Chugger inline SS pump is a great piece of hardware.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great pump for the money
*by D***N on November 3, 2013*

Figure about 1 gallon every 10 - 15 seconds with this pump. Not bad for a centrifugal pump of this size. Beware, though, that it will not prime itself, and can be quickly damaged if you run it dry. As most brewers know, mount it below the level of your tanks, and you shouldn't have much problem. Make sure there are no reductions in line size upstream of the pump, though. Those can trap air and cause cavitation. If you want to control flow, add a valve on the downstream side. Overall, it is a sturdy little pump with plenty of oompf for the home brewer. Can't beat it for the price.
