I did not get a chance to see the inside of the package because it was a gift giveaway and I didn't wanna disrupt the packaging. However it wasn't extremely cheap, however it was much cheaper and affordable than other micro scopes for that age group. It was a gift for A young boy who asked for either a microscope or a telescope or some thing science oriented and I simply wanted to reinforce that. it seemed definitely a decent quality, but it was enough cheaper than some of the other high-quality sets that I felt at ease about buying it for a holiday giveaway even though it was a bit more expensive than just a cheap one. I hope that makes sense.
