However, I don't know of any that stay soft forever. They all dry out eventually. The amount left in the tube will stay soft almost forever as long as you keep a cap on it. **Q: Is this paste electrically conductive? Or is it safe to use on higher voltage transistor flanges?** A: Yes, can be used on transistor flanges. It's non conductive. **Q: ItΒ΄d work for my laptop noisy fan cooler?** A: No. If you have a noisy fan then the fan is worn out. Thermal grease won't help that. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Used this in repairing my induction cooker, mini spatula it comes with is perfect! *by J***A on October 5, 2020* This is the higher-end "gray" grease (G105 standard), not to be confused with the white grease (G104). This stuff has a higher thermal transfer rate (it's slightly better) then the white G104. There are slightly better greases, but those two are what's common and should be fine. You get a lot and the dispensing on this tube really works well. Use the cap to poke a small hole in the foil cap on the tube and gently squeeze a little and small amount is extruded out. it's very controlled and just thick enough that it stays in place and is very easy to work with the included spatual (spreader). It does come with a screw-on conical dispensing tip, but I didn't want to use that because you have to fill the whole tip up to dispense out of it and I wanted a little and then was going to store the rest, so I just squeezed right out of the tube. Very nice to work with and coats evenly without being runny.I used this stuff to rebuild a cooktop Induction hotplate, I regreased the IGBTs, IGBT thermal sensor, and the thermistor coil temperature sensor. This stuff went on great, coated well, like a thick paint. Everything seems to work so I'm happy!I do wish I could have purchase 1/3rd of the volume as I don't really need this much, but the price was good and so was the product.
