Designed for all skill levels, it features a 12-inch grip for precise hand placement on real bats (26-34 inches). The system includes 12 soft Smushballs, a 30-page expert hitting guide, and a sport tote bag, making it a complete, coach-endorsed training solution used by players from youth leagues to professionals worldwide. ## Description The Ultimate Rope Bat Hitting System can be used to hit balls off a batting tee, soft toss from the side, or underhand or overhand from in front, just like normal batting practice. This system was created by former professional player & international coach Dr. Gary Long. It includes everything hitters, parents and coaches need to see immediate & long lasting improvement so hitters correct, connect, and perfect their swing with a real baseball bat. It builds confidence and power and reduces hitter (and coach) frustration. The Ultimate Rope bat eliminates casting the bat or throwing the barrel out too early, looping the bat or dropping the barrel below the plane of the pitch, and hitching or dropping the hitter’s hands before taking them to the ball. It teaches how to execute a swing to maximize centrifugal force with total body connected movement for greater speed, strength, accuracy and consistency. The Complete Hitting System includes: - Coach Dr. Long's downloadable 25 page Rope Bat Hitting Guide with drills on swing, stance, learning style of hitters and load stride - Patented Rope Bat Kinnect Swing Trainer (One Size Fits All) - 3 Smushballs (12 balls in Combo) - Rope Bat sport/gear bag Review: Awesome indoor tool for our son who plays rep baseball Review: I bought the Rope Bat Swing Trainer for my 7-year-old son, who, bless his heart, could NOT swing through for the life of him. Watching him at bat was like watching someone try to swat a mosquito with a pool noodle: lots of effort, absolutely no follow-through, and everyone confused because somehow, he manges to make contact 80% of the time but could never hit past second base. Enter: The Rope Bat. This thing is basically a magical floppy bat that teaches kids how to swing. The idea is simple: if he doesn’t swing correctly, the bat whips around like a disappointed spaghetti noodle. If he DOES swing correctly, it actually hits the ball instead of gently tapping it like it’s afraid of confrontation. After a few sessions, something incredible happened, MY SON STARTED SWINGING THROUGH. Like… consistently. Like… he suddenly understood physics. Like… I nearly cried at practice but held it in because other parents were watching. The 12 soft training balls are a gift from the baseball gods. My son can miss them, smack them, or launch them into orbit, and nobody loses teeth. And the bat itself? Durable enough to survive a 7-year-old who plays baseball as if he's reenacting an action movie. Now he steps up to the plate with confidence, swings like he means it, and occasionally looks back at me like, “Did you SEE that?” Yes, child. I saw it. And so did all the other parents who now think I hired a personal hitting coach. It saved my kid’s swing, boosted his confidence, and prevented me from quietly screaming into a seat cushion at practice. 10/10 would Rope Bat again. ## Features - PATENTED SWING TRAINER that utilizes centrifugal force to create bat speed and teach hitters to stay connected by using their entire body throughout the swing. Solves multiple mechanical problems and provides immediate feedback to help batters connect, correct and perfect their swing with a real bat. - ENDORSED by hitting coaches and used by many high school, college and professional teams around the world. - ONE SIZE FITS ALL design can be used by anyone from t-ball to professional players. The 12-inch grip allows hitters who use a 26-inch to a 34-inch real baseball bat to place their hands exactly where they need to be on the bat. - COMPLETE HITTING SYSTEM includes one Ultimate Rope Bat, 12 Smushballs, a downloadable 30 page hitting guide and a sport tote bag to carry it all. - USE WITH RECOMMENDED TRAINING BALLS. Use only foam (Smushballs), plastic (Wiffle), or light weight training balls such as Incrediballs or Hit Anywhere Balls. I hope this information is helpful. **Q: What is the diameter of the cylinder on end. Is it the same as a bat? It appears to be only 6" long.** A: It is the same as a bat 2-3/4” diameter. It also is not as long as a real bat, it is meant to simulate the sweet spot of a bat. After really working with my daughter more with it I bought enough to outfit my entire tournament team and I am having really good results. I highly recommend using this to develop a good swing for youngsters!!! **Q: How long is this product from knob to end of barrel?** A: It is 30 inches long. However the rope bat theoretically only goes to the sweet spot and doesn't have the barrel end. I have a high schooler 33' and a ju ior high 31' that use it. There is an adjuster on handle to equal your typical bat length. **Q: How do you access training guide?** A: The hitting guide is available to download online. Instructions for accessing the hitting guide are included in each order. If you are missing the instructions or have misplaced them, please message the Rope Bat seller directly for the link and password. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review *by S***G on 4 January 2026* Awesome indoor tool for our son who plays rep baseball ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review *by V***O on 27 February 2026* I bought the Rope Bat Swing Trainer for my 7-year-old son, who, bless his heart, could NOT swing through for the life of him.
