## Description

The Da Vinci globe bar was produced with no compromise on style and is a fine example of Italian craftsmanship. Based on a hand-drawn 18th century map, the Da Vinci bar globe is ideal for any environment and great as a centerpiece for any room. The 40cm diameter globe ball is sufficient to house at least 2 bottles (average 4) and approximately 9 glasses. Additional bottles can be stored on the unique lower base shelf decorated with a beautiful wind rose, perfectly harmonious with the Zodiac illustration around its equatorial line. "Nature is the source of all true knowledge. She has her own logic, her own laws, she has no effect without cause nor invention without necessity." (Leonardo da Vinci) Some assembly required. Please Note : glasses and bottles are not supplied with this bar globe. Some assembly required.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: What are the size of the slats that hold the glasses? Other globes seem to be around 3" which is too small to fit the diameter of whiskey glasses**
A: Hello. the slats are almost exactly 3" apart. You can buy whisky glasses that are the necessary size but you are correct, the slats on all bar globes will be this size.

**Q: Does the globe rotate?**
A: Hi there. The top rotates but the bottom does not. This enables the drinks holder to be solid for extra stability.

**Q: The photo shows a bottle of Jameson inside ther globe. Will the top be able to close with that bottle in the place it's pictured?**
A: Great question! I don't believe that it would close like this to be honest. The bottles have been placed to look aesthetically good. In reality these bottles would occupy the middle of the globe and it would close just fine. The outer rings are really for glasses or smaller bottles.

**Q: Are any of the parts made of plastic on this piece?**
A: Hi there. Great question. The material that the globe ball is made from is a thick black plastic, then paper is laid over the top to form the map. This method of laying paper on to the globe goes back hundreds of years and is the best and most accurate method. The only other plastic is the wheel part of the castors. This is most likely so that it doesn't scratch flooring. If you have any more questions we are delighted to help! Kind regards Alex Eales
