Liam is accused of kidnapping and murdering his love interest. His mother believes he's a sociopath and that he's guilty...but is he?!I love this authors writing. She creates likeable characters that are easy to follow. The short chapters make this book hard to put down. The twist wasn't as much as a surprise as I would have hoped, but a good read.

Never saw the twist coming couldn’t put this book down. Kept me in suspense throughout the whole book. Highly recommend.

Really liked this book, I do think it's pretty predictable - I guessed the ending just 1/4 into the book.

My mouth was frozen as if I just pronounced ‘O’ and it was a big capital letter and the world just frozen over. It was more than a gasp, more like a surprise + astounded + whattheheck?McFadden has done it again. This thriller is so riveting. It’s unbelievable that the premise of the story could be so simple. A teenage girl goes missing. She is in the same class as the boy and all the evidence pointed at the boy. Then, it is the desperate search for the girl but the police don’t know if she is alive or dead.Easy-to-read chapters, easy-to-understand words, easy-to-comprehend plot. Yet, it is not easy to settle.You must read McFadden if you are into thrillers. This is a caliber all on her own.

Read this in a an afternoon. Very fast moving and a very surprising twist. Couldn’t put it down. Classic Freida McFadden. You won’t be sorry if you read this. Good entertainment for a lazy afternoon.
