At first your feet may feel sore as you get used to the arch, but it only took me about 2 days to get used to. Review: This is definitely the shoe for people like me with problem feet! I live in Florida and wear these as my "house" shoes. It really helps my feet and legs feel better. Love them! I have a problem wearing them out for long periods of time because of the flange by the big toe. That's a problem I have with all shoes of this style, not just this one. Save yourself time and money and DO not purchase these if you have narrow or even slightly narrow to "typical" width feet! These were WAY too loose, and I have "regular" though thin feet. I do not wear a narrow in any other shoe, and these were just way too loose - made for very wide feet. Had to return! **Q: Can i wear these orthaheel flip flops to the pool and put wet feet in them when i get out of pool? water resistsnt?** A: The sole of the flip flops appears to be rubber and would be fine with wet feet. The upper part between the toes that extends across the top of the foot is not rubber, but I think they would be fine with wet feet. My feet are very narrow and the men’s shoes were so wide I couldn’t keep them on.
