The manual indicates that the max distance for each cat6 cable run is 40m for 4k@30Hz video and 70m for 1080p@60Hz. My run involved 25m of standard 24 awg cat6 cable and a couple cat6 keystone jacks and I had no issues indicating the need for cat6e or cat7 cables. But if I wanted the 4k I might go with fancy cat7 and shielded cat7 keystone jacks. To summarize I'm very pleased with this unit and all that remains to be seen is how long it will last.
