I liked that it was cordless but if you're looking for a good, hot straightener this isn't the one!

I love the fact this is cordless and the slightly smaller size. If you have thick hair I wouldn't recommend this one though. Super convenient. Battery life is poor though. If you have a lot of hair and use this for your entire head the battery will be pretty much dead. So this is more of a touch up thing. I'd like the plates to be smoother as it definitely pulls sometimes and there is a lot of friction compared to higher end irons. But for something on the go it is super convenient!

Generally, the temperature is not too high. Very hot.

I found myself not only using this on the go or at work when I was running late, but it’s my go~to straightener now. Love it!

Can charge and take with me

I'll stick to my plug in ionic straightener.This device might be okay for travel but, I'd probably still take my other straightener. This one has a few issues: it takes longer than my plug in one to heat up, I wasn't sure when it was done heating until the degrees finally stopped flashing, there's no change in color or anything. The buttons are TINY, making them impossible to read at times. I didn't know I had to push and hold down the power button to get it to come on...generally, to turn a device on you push and let go. The lock/unlock feature unlocks easily if the device rolls over. The flattening portion doesn't hold enough hair making it take forever to straighten long hair. And, it began losing power too quickly, making this device for frustrating to use than helpful.NO THANKS!

My 11 year old daughter wanted a straightener so I got her this one and I've gotta say I'm pretty impressed. It looks pretty cool and does what it's supposed to! It's easy enough for her.
