This is the main meter, that my college supplies our photo students. Now, the bad, it is not an Abrams's tank. Keep it away from kids, pets, and in-laws, and don't tie to the bumper of your Ford F-150 you are good. Any meter, is subject to damage from misuse, just hang it around your neck, you are good. **Q: Does the L-308X-U have the ability to display the flash to ambient ration?** A: No it does not. I believe the L-358, 558 and 608 will. **Q: Will this work with Godox triggers for Sony, both ambient and flash?** A: It an easy to use light meter that handles any type/source of light. It won't trigger strobes. Rather, it reads the level of light available when you trigger the strobe(s). When I use it with strobes, I set the ISO & shutter speed to what I'm looking for, trigger the strobes w/ my wireless flash trigger and see what the aperture should be. Then I adjust the power levels on the strobes ant test again. **Q: What is the temperature operating range** A: 0 to 40 degrees C. ## Frequently Bought Together - Sekonic L-308X-U Flashmate Light Meter (401-305) - Godox S2 Speedlite Bracket for Godox AD200Pro, AD200, AD400Pro, for V1 Round Head Speedlite, V860II / TT685 / TT350 Series, S-Type Bracket Updated Version Bowens Mount Holder - Tether Tools TetherPro USB-C to USB-C Right-Angle Cable (Orange) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/314216895-sekonic-l-308x-u-flashmate-light-meter-401-305](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/314216895-sekonic-l-308x-u-flashmate-light-meter-401-305) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-10-07*
