I have made the mistake of trying another cooling solution twice and need to stick with these noctua's -- once was an AIO (pump failed 3x; twice warranty and 3rd just outside) and once I went for a full custom water loop (EKWB used differing metals for their plugs and other components in the same product line, which corroded and was more hassle than it was worth). If you are looking for a no frills, gets it done, reasonably quiet for the performance cpu cooler and have the room, look no further. Plus Noctua sends updated mounting brackets (for free!) when new cpu models are released. Can't ask for more. It is quiet, well built, and more than adequate for almost all CPU's. I have bought it for I9-9990K, Core Ultra 9 285K, and Ryzen 5 7600 builds. Never fails! Always chill! Don't worry that it will not fit in your case. It may be big but its asymmetric, offset construction will allow it to work well in all full-tower and most mid-tower cases. Also, don't worry that it has only one fan. You don't need its optional second fan.
