Review: Works GREAT!!! (Type-C adapter is junk thou) - For $40 you can't expect much more than this! I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived and worked as well as it did bc right after ordering I had asked a question about the item and I must have gotten a response from someone who was freshly salty from a bad transaction and they said they bought the camera for the same use I bought it for and said it did not work at all. So by the time the item arrived I was sure it was going to be junk. The only reason I did not give it 5 starts is bc all the wires/hardware are junk, most work but barely and the "Type-C" adapter did not work at all which is why I feel some people complained it did not work on their newer phones but after I found another adapter around the house it worked just fine. I bought the camera to view trichomes on plants and it works great for this purpose! Again its ONLY a $40 microscope so don't buy this with expectations of clarity as if you were using a $200+ microscope!! The best part about this item for me is that I can easily throw it in my pocket for "on the go situations" that come up!! Eventually I would like to drop a nice chunk of coin on a really nice microscope but for now I am MORE than happy with the purchase!!!

**Q: I downloaded the teslong camera app onto my galaxy s7 edge but it keeps saying no camera found. How do i make this work?**
A: Try whiting for the program to say and a scanning bar shows it is looking for the camera before plugging/connecting the camera.  You may have to unplug and replug a couple of times.

**Q: Can it work with an iphone (6s) if converted using a usb-to-lighting dongle?**
A: No,ios systems do not support

**Q: Can i use this plugged into my smart tv?**
A: Can you download the software(Teslong Camera,Camera Fi) on your smart TV? If not, it can't be used.The first issue is the compatibility of the software and systems.

**Q: Will this work on linux with vlc software?**
A: It's cheap, try it out. I've used with Windows and numerous software,

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A very well made electronic microscope for PC and Android.

I was looking for a cheap electronic microscope and read several reviews of what's out there and settled on this particular brand because I did not find any really negative things said about it. It was all metal, waterproof, has the ability to focus and magnify easily, had a metal stand and can connect to both PC and Android. It was also very inexpensive so I bit. For the extremely low price I paid, it's an excellent device and I'm glad I bought it. The image is way better than I expected and the addition of LED lighting means I never have to worry about setting up lights around the object I'm magnifying. The stand is metal but ever so slightly lighter than it should be so I do have to be careful about the camera tipping over now and then but that's a user training issue, not necessarily a product flaw. And you can use it as a webcam since it is, after all, a camera. One thing it's missing and something you have to take note of is that there's no bump or nub on the long straw-like camera tube so that you immediately know which way "UP" is so you do have to rotate the camera every time you use it to orient it so I put a small segment of painters tape (a thin blue sliver) on the end of the camera to know how to orient it properly. Otherwise, it's not really that big of an issue. I'm very impressed with this camera/microscope and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for such a device.
