It is not a "hold your nose" and eat it nutrition or survival bar. However, it is not good enough -- in light of the high fat content -- for this to be a regular snack.Second, the texture. They are very crumbly, but not overly dry. I was trying to cut off pieces for my family to sample and found it easier to just break off the pieces that I wanted.Third, the shelf life -- five years -- is great. It's a nice product to add to our family's earthquake supplies and not have to worry about rotating for a while.Fourth, the nutrition is what you want in an emergency bar. High calories and high fat.Bottom line: as an emergency ration you can put away for a while and not wince when you may need them, Millenium Bars are a good product. The packaging on these bars is a sturdy vacuum pack, which should hold up nicely to almost any wear and tear. Packaging and expiration dates were clearly stated.The inaccuracy comes from the flavoring. There are several flavors available, however all three I tried had a coconut base which overpowered the intended flavor. I dislike coconut, and had been trying to avoid coconut flavored products. I could not find anything on the listing about coconut as an ingredient, which was disappointing.I know the argument always goes - in an emergency, you won't care about taste, which is likely true.
