This one held up much better than the first one. Now that the school year ended we will be using it as his swim gear backpack.I washed the backpack several times and it always came out looking great. I gave this 4 stars because the mesh in one of the pockets is ripped due to holding his water bottle on a daily basis. My son was pretty hard on this backpack and my guess is that the tear is from him dragging it on the ground.The lunch bag is small and works for a few snacks and a small juice box but not much more than that.The colors on the design are nice and bright.
