Are they outside plants or house plants?** A: I haven't received my seeds, but I can tell you that it depends on your climate. In Hawaii, the plants are perennials. In Phoenix, we have to protect from frost and we've kept the same plants for years. **Q: What size pot would I need? Any recommendations on soil!?** A: The ones I bought never bloomed. They grew and looked like weeds for the most part. I wouldn't recommend this package. Personally disappointed. But I would put them in a large pot at least 2 in apart. Or put them in a flower bed. Soil wise-I would google it just to be sure. I believe it read to be in partial shade too but I've seen them bloom fine in full sun. **Q: Does each pack contain a mixed set of colors** A: Yes, it contains multiple mixed types of hibiscus. Some types may be more common than others. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3.0 out of 5 stars ... got about 50 seeds instead of 30 - so good. I planted all 50 though and only10 sprouted and are still living. The rest did not germinate. So not bad - 10 hibiscus plants for $5-$6 dollars. Can't wait to see which ones they are. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars about 70% sprouted *by A***Y on Reviewed in the United States on November 22, 2015* I LOVE HIBISCUS! They are just so beautiful. For the price, I feel these seeds are totally worth it. Since they are a mostly tropical plant, make sure you cut the tip of the seed with a razor blade before planting and you will have much better luck getting them to grow. There are a few duds in the bag but in all fairness, they give you WAY more than 30 seeds.. I would say they give you around 50+ so it evens out. I have had 7 out of the 11 I planted sprout (and I do not have a green thumb). My plants are still pretty small so they haven't flowered yet but I am very happy with my purchase. ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3.0 out of 5 stars Time will tell about Dinner-plates. *by J***R on Reviewed in the United States on June 30, 2016* seedling production is less than 15%. This is regardless of the starting processes employed which have always been more productive. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/32261749-majestic-mixed-dinner-plate-hibiscus-30-seeds](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/32261749-majestic-mixed-dinner-plate-hibiscus-30-seeds) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-10-10*
