Excellent quality, solid metal. So everything should be good, right?WRONG.The hardware that comes with this shelf is entirely inadequate. DO NOT INSTALL the shelf with the provided screws and anchors. The seller says that the shelf can hold up to 300 lbs evenly distributed. That claim seems fair with proper installation hardware; however, the shelf CANNOT EVEN HOLD ITS OWN WEIGHT with the screws and anchors provided.Why, you ask?Because the screw heads, which are intended to be flush with the shelf when installed are SLIGHTLY SMALLER THAN THE HOLE IN THE SHELF. This means that the screws can just slip through with the slightest touch. And then the shelf falls down.Furthermore, the plastic anchors provided are very flimsy and more appropriate for holding something 15 lbs or less.In summary: shelf good, hardware bad. Prepare to buy your own screws and anchors, otherwise this shelf is extremely dangerous and unfit for use. ### ⭐⭐ get what you pay for *by J***J on Reviewed in the United States on March 4, 2017* i ordered 2 of these shelfs one 60" and one 48"first the "boxes" they came packaged in were inferior to protect them sufficiently for shipping and both arrived slightly damaged with holes in their boxes.however they were both shipped out on time if that helps lol. i picked both units out to fit in my shed and measured from stud to stud for mounting purposes and ease of installation since i have exposed studs they should have just bolted up and been done, this however was not the case. the 60" is actually 58& 3/4 and the 48 had the screw holes at 40 apart. so it was a time consuming pta to drill every mount hole to properly be installed fyi stainless is a pta to drill due to its hardness.now the mounting hardware screws and plastic expanders seem like they would be OK if you are mounting to sheetrock and you only want to put 50lb or so on the shelves, so that being said i had to get my own screws,bolts and washers. the 60" shelf only came with 2 shelf support triangle mounts, wtf guys why only 2 it really needs 3 or even 4. the 48" came with 3 and that seems sufficient to hold 200lb or more easily if you use good fasteners and bolt to studs properly.i spent 4 hours putting these things up and the way i did it i would say they would hold 300lb each or more safely, remember i also added more supports, used my own fasteners and added more holes to attach to more studs increasing rigidity and strength. recap is get your own fasteners, high quality drill bits, drill and other tools required to mount them properly, some of the edges may be sharp, the shelfs are bent not cut and welded so some sections are not the proper 45 degrees to flush mount (back of the shelf) making a perfect flat mount difficult. i chose these over the other usa made ones offered on amazon due to cost, hind site i shoulda got the usa made version lol. but these should last a very long time and support everything i throw on top. ### ⭐⭐ Not as pictured *by D***D on Reviewed in the United States on March 13, 2021* It might make some of you happy to find out that there is indeed a center brace. The reason I ordered this particular one is because the main picture showed it without a center brace. I did not want a brace in the middle. You don't have to use the center brace, but you have these unremovable bolts sticking down in the middle that are an eyesore. Also, there was a lot of scratches on the finish. One other note, you will have to use the Included plastic anchors because studs in the wall are not spaced to match the holes.
