Has anything else changed?** A: Hey Bart, nothing has changed since we launched this kit. Yours should have straps on the back, otherwise it wasn't from us. **Q: I wonder why they chose a guy that is using the fire bellows backwards for the display photo? He's supposed to use to blow through the wide end.** A: Works great in the rain and wind. Used it for a week of hiking and camping, great product and affordable **Q: is this pouch waterproof?** A: No. It is made of a cordura-like material. The zippered access is not waterproof. There is a drain hole at the bottom. Most items inside are packaged in plastic bags. I repacked the contents into small freezer bags. Very nice MOLLE Bag. There is no flint and I feel that this should be taken out of the discription. There is a synthetic Ferro rod but it is not the same thing as a flint rock. I like the pocket bellow's as this keep's your face from getting too close to the fire. There is a large variety of different tinder. The char cloth is one that many may not be as familiar with. I would add different ways of making fire, waterproof matches, a lighter, maybe a magnifing glass, etc. To make these changes you would have to remove some of the tinder. The Weyland kit is packed with the different tinder choices.
