Before I knew about skin with yellow or pink undertones, I always wondered why my foundation always looks ashy and too light on my face, even when I buy it after the person at the store matches and recommends the shade for me. NOW I know that it's because my skin has a yellow undertone and the foundations are too pink for me. That's when I started looking up videos and some people recommended this foundation mixer, rather than throwing away expensive foundations. I ordered it and I am thrilled that I did. I just add a drop or 2 to my Mac and IT cosmetics foundations and Voila- the foundations match my face perfectly. It's a good amount for the price too and you just need a little, so it lasts a long time. They have several shades so you could buy a light, an olive and a dark or pink shade if you wish, that way you can pretty much rest assured that no matter what the issue with your foundation color is, you can fix it. I would highly recommend this product. I have light but VERY olive skin (I'm of European and Mexican descent). All my makeup-wearing life (~20 years), I have struggled to find foundations that are light enough AND the right undertone (usually too pink or too yellow).After yet another near miss (Body Shop Fresh Nude Foundation in Bali Vanilla) I was left with a foundation where I liked the coverage and finish, but a face that looked sallow due to being slightly too light and slightly too yellow. I'm half asian half danish so my skin is very white. This mixer is lightweight and doesn't change the consistency of the foundation at all.
