ONLY issues the cable included is 1/4 inch but the inputs for the speaker are 1/8 inch. Why include a cable you don't need? Free cable YAY, unnecessary cable, BOO!You have to be careful balancing input versus AMP volume. These are Mid-range speakers so there is a narrow sweet spot that maintains clarity at like 80 dbs. Like 40% volume from your computer and 70% Amp power. To be expected. If these were $300 I would be pissed. For $140, eh what the heck, it's a great deal until you feel like dropping the big bucks on a more powerful pair. I think I will have to fiddle with them a bit to get it perfect.I like the simple and non-intrusive style. And they are the right size to look serious but not be bulky.Overall: Well balanced solution for those of us who want to max spend $150.
