Forged Steel Thor's Hammer Focal Pendant

Looks rustic and authentic but wish it was supplied with a leather braided or natural thong for tying around neck. I bought some material and used what looks like a cow hitch prussik...basically take leather and divide in half pushing the loop end through eye of hammer...then take the two tag ends and push them through the portion of the loop that is now on other side of hammer ring. Pull tight and then adjust and cut then secure tag ends to proper length for your neck...or attach your choice of hasp system. Mine is in a half hitch knot now but going to make a loop in one side and put a short piece of antler as a pod on other to pass through and when perpindicular, will hold it secure. I am not sure what type of sealant or finish they used on it to see if it will last through sweat and body salts and acids....but so far so good. Wish it was slightly larger with a little more weight to it so it layed against my chest better and did not ride up into collars as much.

Nice and solid. Has a good weight to it. The simple design is exactly what I was looking for. Not sure if this is actually steel or not since I'm not too familiar with steel, kind of feels like it though, but I like it regardless. 4 stars only because I'm not too sure about the material.

Pretty nice item. I prefer something very simple gold bronze like for a necklace, but this makes an nice keychain, and you can never have enough mjollnirs.

The media could not be loaded.  Extremely nice quality. Heavy. All three came A bit different but that just makes them look more handmade. Perfect. All around nice energy and feel to them. Oiled iron.

I got this originally to act as a key chain, which it does stellar in that role. However the first day after I got it, I tried it as a necklace pendant. It doesn't sit flat when on a chain and that's a big drawback if you have any remotely active job. The issue is, if pressure is applied the side will painfully dig into your chest plate or possibly break the chain. I have several other Mjolnir pendants and will be sticking to them for actual wear.The weight is just where I like such necklace pieces, enough to be aware of it but light enough it's not a drag. It's not chunky and the machining is imperfect, which gives it a great old school effect. The black matte coating can be stripped(see picture) for a faux stone washed steel. It appears to be an alkyd(oil based) coating as the acetone test showed it wasn't a latex based and I doubt they're using solvent based coatings on jewelry. It's engraveable oncestripped bare too.Overall I'm happy with the purchase but unhappy I couldn't push it into another role.

These are great! Heavy steel and much bigger than I expected. Beware the seller ships USPS by default, and the first shipment was lost after we waited weeks for them to arrive. I contacted the seller and they promptly rwahipped my order via UPS as requested as USPS is terrible in my area.If the others arrive I plan to pay for them and keep them as these are rustic and gorgeous.
