It is amazing that I can make a cup of tea in my Nespresso machine. This tea has a hint of bitterness and a mild mint flavour with a hint of sweetness from the saffron. The pods each are sealed with a foil top that is meant to be removed before placing in the Nespresso machine so that they don’t jam up the machine. You have to press the lungo button twice to get a decent size cup of tea.

It's not a bad green tea, but I didn't think that it had much Saffron flavor to it. The pods worked fine in my Nespresso brewer, but I definitely needed to run a few rinse (no pods) cycles to get rid of the smell before brewing my regular coffee pods.So, as a green tea, I thought these were fine. I wouldn't pay a premium for the Saffron, though.

Interesting tea. Not sure if it's "my cup of tea", but will give it a try again. I made a cup this afternoon using the Lungo setting which is a larger amount of liquid than the Espresso, thinking it would be more like a regular 6oz. cup, the amount most people would normally drink. The flavor was weird. It's Ceylon Green Tea with Saffron and Mint - sounded fine, especially the mint, but it's slightly off (by my taste buds) and a bit bitter. Perhaps the saffron is the "different" taste, not sure. Anyway, the tea was a lovely reddish amber color and slightly cloudy (didn't notice any red saffron threads floating around), and it left an unusual taste in my mouth. There are 10 capsules in the box, so 9 more to go. Next will be the tiny Espresso size for comparison.

This tea has a hint of bitterness and a very mild mint flavor. It is nice for any time of day. The pods each are sealed with a foil top that is meant to be removed before placing in the Nespresso machine. This keeps the flavor fresh and is a nice detail.

The tea was slightly bitter. I had to press the large cup setting twice so It would make more tea. It's a really small cup at the end. It's too bad my Nespresso machine won't let me easily make large cups of tea.I don't really taste the saffron. The tea is pretty standard and not too extraordinary.The capsule has a large extend lip that gets stuck inside the machine. It's easy to remove but is annoying.
