WTF is going on??? Is it just typical random luck of the draw "Made on a Monday" good or bad luck?? It seems nonsensical. And it is really PMTFO.Anyway, this is the BEST flashlight I've EVER owned BY FAR. I had heard good things about it, and a friend had one and it seemed to be pretty nice, so I decided to take a chance spending this much on a flashlight, which for me moneywise was a big deal."Luckily" (?) I got a good one and it is wonderful. I LOVE IT. It is super bright. I like the focus to small beam or wide, and the side pull light is nice and bright and works well. I've never used the red or red blinking options, but they are a nice touch, and would come in handy if needed. If they didn't cost so much I would own several.And I bought one for my brother-in-law a couple of years ago for Xmas.I don't use it a lot, so the first time I had to charge it was about a year after I bought it. But I have noticed that when I use it not too frequently, it does need charging about once a month or so. Your mileage will vary.NOTE that it can "fail" and not charge, but after some Google InterWebs sleuthing I found out that you have to unscrew the magnet bottom to disconnect the battery and that "resets it".
