A: The mug is 14 ounces however when using the lid the capacity is only 12 ounces

A: The lid that comes with this mug is junk. Luckily I was able to use a lid, that fits perfectly, off another mug I had in cabinet. I would suggest you take the mug to Walmart, Bed, Bath and Beyond or some other store that sells mugs. Find a mug that has a lid that fits the Asobu. You will have to buy the mug to get the lid but takes the guesswork out of buying online and the cost of complete mug and lid will most likely be about the same price as just buying the lid. Hope this helps.

I didn't like the flavor of a stainless steel insulated mug, so I bought this. It has been a good purchase, as it doesn't lend any flavor to my coffee, and it is attractive while keeping my coffee hot for at least one to two hours. I gave it 4 stars because the lid is a bit hard to clean if I don't rinse it out soon after finishing my coffee.
