It does not have a very strong flavor like bouillon would. However, adding salt definitely does enhance the flavor and makes it much better. Could add more powder to make the flavor stronger. Mixes well. This is a great product if you’re looking for something with all natural ingredients. I add all natural hand harvested mineral salt to mine so I don’t mind that it doesn’t have added salt. I intend to use this for fasting.
