Herbs are very important and can be used in so many different ways. I really like this addition to my bookshelf and it's keeping me busy while I wait to start my garden.

Marc does a great job telling readers how to start a herb garden.  His simple and well thought out instructions can be followed by the most inexperienced gardener easily. The best part of the book is his unique pairing of herbs with recipes, an approach I have not seen taken before in other guides. His use of Latin and descriptions of herbs is thorough and well executed.
