A: Base holds 2 quarts. :)

**Q: someone said it holds 2.2 qts....advert says 3.3...some say coated cast iron, others say it isn't...what is TRUE?**
A: 3.3 quart would be capacity and although am not100% sure it is likely coated cast iron as it is heavy.

**Q: Does the material contain lead?**
A: No Cast Iron pot, works great

Has become my go to pan for a lot of dishes. Easy to use and clean. Good steamer with the lid. Nice to roast anything. Useable in the oven. Very nice to serve food.
