Works great as long as you can keep it wet. Still working out how to do this. I love it wet so it only takes getting it wet to use for crafting time.

I had the chance to try this before I bought it here on Amazon at a local craft store. It works really well. It doesn't leave behind the little pieces of lint that occurs when you clean your stamps with baby wipes. Also, its environmentally friendly because you can use it over and over rather than throwing away a disposable product like baby wipes. It will save you a lot of money over time because you won't need to keep buying baby wipes. I found that just plain water on the shammy cleaned by stamps using Momento Tuxedo Black ink (I haven't used any other inks with it yet) so its great not having to use it with a stamp cleaning solution. The other nice thing is that it doesn't leave moisture behind on the stamp like baby wipes so there is no drying time required before you can use your stamp again after cleaning off the ink with this shammy. It arrives as stiff as a board inside the packaging so you have to run it under water for several minutes before it softens up and becomes pliable. Just squeeze out the excess water after you soak it, then its nice and pliable. It stays damp enough to use without having to re-wet it if you are crafting on and off throughout the day. I think the size is just right, it feels like the size of a piece of kleenex so its small enough to keep in your hand without dragging all over other areas on your work surface that you don't want to get wet.

Since these were first manufactured, I have been buying them. I store the current shammy in a slimline dvd case so it's easy to find when I need it for stamp cleaning. It's faster than using traditional cleaning methods with cleaning pads and spray. Because it gets stained I choose to replace the shammy about once a year but I think it would last much longer. (The staining has no effect on using the product.) Very pleased with this product.
