Err on the side of Caution! - Though it's said passports are protected "to make it difficult" for perps scan it, I think it's good to err on the side of caution and keep it in the RFID sleeve, which also keeps it clean, etc. Passport CARDS -- Like Credit Cards -- AREN'T protected! The differently colored sleeves are perfect, and easy to know which card is in which color. These are Really Good To Have On Hand (ESPECIALLY for the price!) even if you don't travel a lot or leave home with credit cards all the time. There are also enough passport holders to share with someone else!

These are handy protectors for all our RF cards - definitely worth the purchase, especially if you've ever had a card skimmed because you were carrying it, unprotected, in your pocket. We now have all of our cards in these blocking sleeves. The bright colors make them easy to spot in my wallet, too.
