However, I concur with other reviews that the screen quality is sub-par but what I found is that it is not the brightness that is lacking, but rather the contrast. To achieve high visibility during the day, the screen has to have high contrast AND high brightness at the same time. The screen's color and contrast look dull during the day but okay during the night. Given the price, overall the screen quality can be higher. I would trade the higher resolution of this screen for higher contrast and color representation of many competitors with lower resolution.Also the first item I got from Amazon was defective (air bubbles in mirror) and the buyer gladly replaced it.One thing to add: unlike some other brands, this camera does NOT have a reverse trigger wire so you'd have to use the power (Vcc) wire to the camera to turn on/off the screen.
