Review: Super! - Leicht, praktisch, gut waschbar - einfach toll ☺️ Review: Buy it! - I did around 3 hours of research on XL beach blankets and finally settled on this brand and color. I looked all over the internet and at camping stores even considered buying a packable waterproof tarp/ ground sheet for tents but came to the conclusion the dark colors would get too hot in the sun and the cost was double. The grey and light blue is a nice combination- neutral enough to be inconspicuous on the beach but still bright enough not to look like a dirty old blanket. The problem with a lot of XL blankets in neon orange etc is that they are so massive and visually loud the whole beach gawks- unless you want to be the center of attention. The quality seems really good so far, the color blocks are sewn together by triple stitching, the fabric feels really silky and smooth on the skin, and there is a bit of sheen that reflects light, which makes it visually nicer than some tarp or dull and drab dollar store tablecloth. I love how it compacts down really small, which makes it possible to pack in carry-on bags for flights (obviously without pegs for security). The 10’ x 9’ size might seem like it is excessive but it’s not. It’s nice to have an additional foot of fabric above and below you when stretched out arms extended. Sand stays off much better when the edges of fabric are not subject to movement. A dreamy size for 1 or 2 people and essential for a family. If these were to ever retail at Costco they would fly out the door. Overall a very solid buy. ## Features - ✔ LARGE AND COMPACT-7‘x7'(210cmX210cm) will comfortably fit 1-3 adults. Come with 6 metal stakes in a pouch for 4 anchor loops so you will have 2 spare ones just in case. - ✔ SIMPLE DESIGN & DOUBLE ANCHORED-WEKAPO blanket is designed as simple as possible so it has eliminated 5 sticking out sand pockets and added 4 corner pockets that can be used for storage or sand anchor. If it's windy day, it can be nailed down on beach by metal stakes coming with our blanket. - ✔ SAND PROOF AND WATER RESISTANT-This beautifully colored blanket is made of durable ripstop nylon. Just shake the blanket and it easily gets rid of all the sand once. Not only is this wonderful fabric breathable and light-weight, but watch as water beads up and rolls off. The little water that may stay behind will dry VERY FAST. - ✔ SUPERIOR QUALITY- Triple stitched for maximum strength and durability. All pieces of this blanket are made with lasting use in mind. - ✔ MULTIFUNCTIONAL – Use it as a Picnic Blanket, for relaxing during vacation, hiking/camping or simply for hanging out with friends or family in a garden/backyard – a truly multifunctional camping accessory! ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B08X6VQBGJ | | Additional Features | Compact, Lightweight, Sandproof | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Best Sellers Rank | #33,112 in Sporting Goods ( See Top 100 in Sporting Goods ) #77 in Camping Blankets | | Blanket Form | Travel Blanket | | Blanket form | Travel Blanket | | Brand | WEKAPO | | Brand Name | WEKAPO | | Color | Turquoise | | Colour | Turquoise | | Country of Publication | China | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 5,741 Reviews | | Fabric Type | 100% Nylon | | Fabric Warmth Description | Lightweight | | Fill Material | Nylon | | Included Components | 6 metal stakes in a pouch | | Item Dimensions L x W | 2.1L x 2.1W Meters | | Item Thickness | 0.04 Inches | | Item Weight | 1 Pounds | | Manufacturer | pengdao | | Manufacturer Part Number | B08X6VQBGJ_CA NARF | | Material | Nylon | | Material Type | Nylon | | Model Name | Couverture de Plage résistante au Sable, Tapis de Plage | | Model Number | B08X6VQBGJ_CA NARF | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Pattern | Striped | | Product Care Instructions | Hand Wash Only | | Recommended User Type | Adult | | Recommended Uses For Product | Camping, Travel, Hiking, Picnic | | Seasons | Summer | | Size | 7x7 FT (1～3 person) | | Special features | Compact, Lightweight, Sandproof | | Sport Type | Camping, Hiking | | Style | Compact | | Style Name | Compact | | Theme | Plain | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Water Resistance Level | Water Resistant | | Weave Type | Plain | ## Product Details - **Brand:** WEKAPO - **Colour:** Blue - **Material:** Nylon - **Special features:** Compact, Lightweight, Sandproof - **Style:** Compact ## Images ![Wekapo Beach Blanket Sandproof, Beach Mat, Big & Compact Sand Free Mat Quick Drying, Lightweight & Durable with 6 Stakes & 4 Corner Pockets, Standard (1~3 person)- Blue - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71JKPyUX-RL.jpg) ![Wekapo Beach Blanket Sandproof, Beach Mat, Big & Compact Sand Free Mat Quick Drying, Lightweight & Durable with 6 Stakes & 4 Corner Pockets, Standard (1~3 person)- Blue - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/716ZjYkqHVL.jpg) ![Wekapo Beach Blanket Sandproof, Beach Mat, Big & Compact Sand Free Mat Quick Drying, Lightweight & Durable with 6 Stakes & 4 Corner Pockets, Standard (1~3 person)- Blue - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81VvwgeiZ5L.jpg) ![Wekapo Beach Blanket Sandproof, Beach Mat, Big & Compact Sand Free Mat Quick Drying, Lightweight & Durable with 6 Stakes & 4 Corner Pockets, Standard (1~3 person)- Blue - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71h20NSPW9L.jpg) ![Wekapo Beach Blanket Sandproof, Beach Mat, Big & Compact Sand Free Mat Quick Drying, Lightweight & Durable with 6 Stakes & 4 Corner Pockets, Standard (1~3 person)- Blue - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81IMm451TLS.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color, Size** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: can chairs be used, on the blanket?** A: Yes although not sure why you’d want to do that vs just setting up chairs next to the blanket. It’s thick enough that chairs shouldn’t poke a hole in the fabric. **Q: Does it get hot? Also, does the material make you sweat? (like both when you're dry and when you're wet)** A: If the sand is hot, the heat will go right through the blanket. We had to use towels on top of the blanket. **Q: What is the depth of the storage bag? I understand the other dimensions are 6x7".** A: Hi Sherkan thank you very much for your good question. The dimension of the storage bag when stored with a blanket is 8” X 6” X 6”. Have a great day. **Q: Can it be embroidered** A: Thank you for your question. Yes it can be embroidered. Please make decorations with the patterns you like. Enjoy your sand free beach days! ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Super! *by A***E on 18 February 2026* Leicht, praktisch, gut waschbar - einfach toll ☺️ ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Buy it! *by B***. on 30 July 2026* I did around 3 hours of research on XL beach blankets and finally settled on this brand and color.
