This time-honored handlebar color is available on the Zipp Service Course 70 XPLR, our newest drop-bar offering. The bar's moniker, XPLR, exemplifies the desire to explore the world with an expanded definition of cycling on a drop bar bicycle — from paved roads to gravel, mud, dirt, and even singletrack. The Service Course 70 XPLR helps you go faster by placing your body, starting with your hands, in an optimal "comfort zone" position for hours of rough riding over mixed terrain. Whether on a two-hour training ride from home or a 200-mile gravel adventure, today's riders demand more of their cockpit: comfort, control, and the ability to carry what they need. We met these needs by creating a bar with shallow and wide drops while focusing on two crucial metrics — outsweep and flare. - Bar drops provide a wider, balanced, and secure position with drops that are about 6cm wider than the hoods position for technical or intense riding. - The 70 XPLR features an ergonomic top with an extended 100mm clamping area for computer mounts, aero-extensions, bags, and whatever else you may need for the long haul. - Reach: 70mm - Drop: 115mm ## Features - Bar drops provide a wider, balanced, and secure position with drops that are about 6cm wider than the hoods position for technical or intense riding - Engineered with an optimized ergonomic top section offering a generous 100mm clamp area, providing versatile mounting options for computers, aero extensions, and hydration bags for long-distance adventures. - The handlebar's wide, shallow 115mm drop and 5 flare enhance control and stability on mixed terrain, supporting aggressive riding positions with a 70mm reach and 42cm width for balanced handling. - Designed with external cable routing for simplified installation and maintenance, this handlebar is clip-on compatible and features a bead blast black finish for sleek, corrosion-resistant style suitable for all cycling conditions. - Innovative "Off Road Drop" design with compact bend style and outward bend of 11 offers increased comfort, control, and confidence during technical descents, making it ideal for gravel racing, bikepacking, and adventure riding. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B08NPXV4DT | | Best Sellers Rank | #308,895 in Sports & Outdoors ( See Top 100 in Sports & Outdoors ) #343 in Bike Handlebars | | Bike Type | Road Bike | | Brand Name | Zipp | | Color | Bead Blast Black | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 4.5 out of 5 stars (26) | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00710845862076 | | Included Components | Drop Handlebar | | Item Dimensions L x W | 4.53"L x 2.76"W | | Item Weight | 13.6 ounces | | Item Width | 8 inches | | Manufacturer | Zipp | | Manufacturer Part Number | 102278 | | Manufacturer Warranty Description | Limited Warranty | | Material Type | Aluminum | | Model Number | 102278 | | Number of Items | 1 | | UPC | 710845862076 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Zipp - **Color:** Bead Blast Black - **Item Weight:** 13.6 ounces - **Material:** Aluminum - **Product Dimensions:** 4.53"L x 2.76"W ## Images ![Zipp Speed Weaponry Service Course 70 XPLR Drop Handlebar - Aluminum, 31.8mm, 42cm, Bead Blast Black, A2 - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41fpLMCdk2L.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color, Size** options. ## Frequently Bought Together - Zipp Speed Weaponry Service Course 70 XPLR Drop Handlebar - Aluminum, 31.8mm, 42cm, Bead Blast Black, A2 - Zipp Service Course Seatpost - 27.2mm Diameter, 350mm Length, 20mm Offset, Bead Blast Black, B2 --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/337224059-zipp-speed-weaponry-service-course-70-xplr-drop-handlebar-aluminum](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/337224059-zipp-speed-weaponry-service-course-70-xplr-drop-handlebar-aluminum) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-10-29*
