Only slight annoyance is that the cap is tight and the inner prongs have little silicone sleeves that you could easily loose, but good that there IS a cap, and that the sleeves are included, I suppose. However, you need to be aware it is not calibrated for masonry. So you can get comparative readings, ie compare a dry area of wall with one you think is damp, but the readings have no absolute meaning in % terms. This does enable you to plot areas of damp penetration very accurately so it served my purpose but the calibrated % moisture content readings are only valid for wood.
