Just got back from 2000 mile trip across states and used to keep kids occupied with dvds on way down (6 hrs at a time.) No, it wasn't running the whole 6 hours but pretty steady for a good part of it over 2 days. We just used the DVD player. Unsure if picks up local stations. Hooked up to 12V. Remote was included and does work. Issues so far: gets stuck on some well used dvds with what I call minor scuffs/scratches that normally doesn't freeze at home dvd player. Also...I had a heck of a time loading a DVD into it. Makes no sense. Tried a different one and it went in right away. After a few switching dvds, it finally took the one we wanted to watch. It wasn't a blue ray and didn't have graphics on it. Yes, I loaded it correctly just like the others. Yes, the speakers aren't great but we hooked our Verizon blue tooth sound box into it(headphones jack) and can blast it. So I'm not sure what to say.
