For almost 40 years, Super Sailmakers has been America's small-boat sail specialist. Super's sail for a Sunfish is made as a long-lasting recreational sail to help you enjoy your boat for many years. It features premium 3.8 oz. Dacron from Challenge Sailcloth. Each corner is reinforced with multiple layers of Dacron. The corners, luff, and foot have secure, nickel-plated spur grommets to attach the sail to the spars with mast hoops (not included). A wide transparent vinyl view window gives you a full view of your surroundings and won't crack like lighter Mylar. Finally, the sail comes with a durable drawstring sailbag to store it when removed, or to hold your gear if you leave the sail on the spars. You won't find a higher-quality sail with so much included at this price anywhere, online or in person, and we hope you enjoy it. If you want to race in sanctioned Sunfish-class regattas, you need to purchase a "class-legal" sail from LaserPerformance, who supplies those sails. The term Sunfish is a registered trademark of LaserPerformance and means the product manufactured and sold by that company. Super Sailmakers sails are not authorized as class-legal by LaserPerformance, which attempts to keep all sails for racing exactly the same.
