Like it just clamps on over old? or have to remove the whole dashboard?** A: Hello, Please be sure to read the info in the listing as we explain in detail how the cover works there, this is not a dashboard replacement, it installs over your dash (cannot be used as a replacement part) **Q: Will this tan color match the orginal factory color for a 1997 gmc sierra sle k1500?** A: Hello, yes, this color is matched based on the original factory color, but please bear in mind that since these trucks are 20+ years old we can never guarantee an exact match. Count on the possibility of the cover being a little lighter or darker than your dash. You can also check out the customer-submitted reviews with photos on this listing, that will give you a realistic expectation!
