It has a small plastic handle. It's not too bad....but it's not a hard sided case. It does keep the jig well protected. But being cardboard it will get beat up over time. Mine has lasted pretty well. FYI, i bought the jig and the 32mm extension bars separately--they each came with the same case. **Q: Does this jig work for recessed or reverse flat panel drawer fronts ?** A: Yes the jig works on recessed panel (shaker) style drawer fronts. There are adjustment spacers included that span the gap of the inset panel and allow you to drill with stability on these panels without movement or rocking of the jig. **Q: What is max length between drill holes on cabinet doors** A: TP-1934 will adjust down to 1/4" from edge of door/drawer up to 8". CC min is 1-1/8" max is -12". There are attachments for very close centers (16mm and 32mm CC) these are part number SDG1632. For handles larger than 12" CC there is the extension set, 2312 that can be added to the base unit for handles up to 31" (800mm). TP-1934 will cover 95% plus of hardware available.
