Jump ropes are a classic for kids to play with. The grandkids love this jump rope. We bought them 2 so they can do double-dutch. It is strong, does not tangle, is weighted for easy rotation, and is not so hand just in case they bump their legs while jumping. And for the parents, it is break time because the kids will love playing with this jump rope for hours.

Got a replacement for the one that was dysfunctional. This one so far has worked... The handle are heavy because of the batteries but it's an entertaining way to keep my youngin active.

used this in a school talent show with the lights turned low. It really showed up well with jump rope tricks. Fun too!

The media could not be loaded. I’m a teacher and we’re doing a talent show performance in half a month so I asked 2 parents to purchase these jump ropes for the show separately. I bought one too.3 out of the 3 we purchased came defective. Mine was working fine but after a couple of days one side didn’t work anymore. The other parent’s jump rope got so hot on one side and smelled like it was burning. The other parent said the same thing happened as mine, one side didn’t worked but straight out of the box.It’s sad because they do look cool and the kids were excited. Now I’ll have to look somewhere else because if I replace it here, the odds point to getting another defective one.Don’t buy this!

I’m content with my purchase at the moment and as a heads up you will need 4 double A batteries to get it to light up which it doesn’t come included with you will have to buy these separately. I will also update later once I’ve owned it for awhile and tested its durability after a few uses.
