I only used it for the pearls. Look at the other reviews or check out the item description. **Q: How I can buy more pearls??????** A: I've been searching too because there's no point buying the tool if I can't find refills. I've searched Amazon using a wide variety of words and everything that comes up are drilled pearls or pearls that don't use the nails that come with this tool. I did find nail refills, and you'd think they would show pearls with the nails, but no pearls come up with them - or if they do, they are predrilled and not for use with the nails. I don't know what the point of that is, except to waste my time!
