Scarlet DarknessMaxi Long Skirt for Women Double Layered Renaissance Skirts

I loved the looks of this skirt, but its SOOO long. I'm 5'2" and would guess there was a good 5-6" still on the ground when I tried it on. Hemming it wouldn't be too bad until trying to hem the underskirt. It's hard to find skirts with the right length when you're vertically challenged.

THIS MATERIAL...… OMG is so soft. It's lightweight and not heavy at all. I'm 5'11 and 220lbs. I ordered a large and it fits perfect in the waste and comes to the middle of my ankles. I bought it for the RenFaire that is coming up and I can't wait to wear it. I will try to update this with a pick when I put my entire outfit together.

This purchase was for a western/pioneer trek. I expected the sagebrush and the 20+ mile walk to trash this skirt as the top layer is smooth and satin-like, but it was like new after the event! The design was great, comfortable, and beautiful. Great purchase!

This skirt is beautiful and the fabric is luscious! I’m SO happy it arrived early and in time for renfest! I’ll post a pic if I get a good one. Trust me, this skirt is worth buying.EDIT: I removed 2 stars from my review which I rated before I actually wore this outside. BE WARNED! If you wear this skirt outside the lace on the bottom LITERALLY COLLECTS ANY AND ALL DEBRIS ON THE GROUND! It’s AWFUL! The leaves and tiny twigs got so tangled in the lace hem I could not remove them. It completely ruined the lace. (See photo) I’m not sure how it will wash but I have to say I am extremely disappointed. I had to keep stopping and the Renaissance Festival and clearing out the debris from the hem because it interfered with walking.

I got a small, the waist and length size is slightly to big on me but the skirt itself is beautiful and made wonderfully! Even with the extra cloth it still is very effective is trudging around in and much lighter feeling than it looks.The additional loop can be used to hike up, making easier to walk in without tripping over the extra length.10/10!

Very happy with this skirt! I'm 5'3 and weigh 165 lbs. (I purchased a size Large) I was worried that it wasn't going to fit well or it would be too long. Its the perfect fit. The color is gorgeous! Ita a great quality. Came wrinkled, but I plan on steaming the wrinkles out. A thinner material, but great quality. Definitely will buy from this company again.

After many failed attempts to find a skirt that matched the style I was looking for and that wasn't a piece of crap, I found this one and was very impressed. It's perfect for a Victorian era costume, and it can even be worn as a regular skirt for every day. My only complaint is that it came rather wrinkled, whereas in the picture it looks smooth as silk. Several answered questions on here confirms that it should not be ironed. But the material is still nice and soft, and overall I am very happy with this skirt.
