I wore the jock strap after having a vasectomy and the ice packs fit perfectly and provided great support. I used the ice packs for 3-4 days after the procedure and just slipped them into the slots in my normal boxer briefs and that worked just as well. I just didn't want to wash the jock strap everyday and felt it was necessary to change my underwear daily after showering. I think the ice packs were worth the price alone. The convenience of slipping them in your underwear and rotating them out every hour or so kept my boys on ice constantly and most likely reduced the healing time.
