This tool allows jolly ranchers to sit perfectly in the center and cuts are extremely quick and accurate with no chance of catching your finger in the blade like with scissors, AND with taffy, the blade never once gummed up, I was actually surprised that it didn't. Perfect if you have a freeze dryer and need to cut candy. Looks that same.** A: I have a pvc cutter that will cut pex, but the straight blade flattens the flexible line, requiring it to be rounded out after cutting...the ratchet mechanism on the pvc cutter also is not effective on the flexible line. The pex cutter has a pointed blade and spring action that makes for an easier cut on pex. Borrowed one from a friend, like it and have mine ordered.
