Helps out the night times coughs of a colded up child and has saved my sanity. I don't use it with the smelly plug ins and it still works great. You just must empty it every day and let it dry out. Clean it when the cold is over and youre boxing it back up. I've found using white vingar solution works for descaling if needed. Then I use a denture cleaning tablet to disinfect it. Completely dry it out then box it back up. I have two, one for each child.
